The Logistics Executive is responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of goods and materials from suppliers to customers. They work closely with suppliers, shipping companies, and customers to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of products while optimizing costs and improving customer satisfaction. Responsibilities - Ensure timely delivery of goods and materials, meeting customer delivery requirements - Manage logistics schedules, ensuring that deliveries are properly scheduled and planned - Monitoring all In-transit shipments to ensure timely delivery - Tracking and recording all logistics Issues - Arranging Reverse Pickups from Customer Side - Handling all Incoming Return Requests - Preparing NDR (Non-Delivery Report) & RTO (Return to Origin) Report - Preparing Logistics Performation Report - Tracking all COD returns to ensure RTO is delivered to the right locations - Quality Checking for all the returned items and managing Inventory workflow for all returned items - Negotiate with shipping companies and carriers to obtain the best possible rates and services - Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost savings - Develop and implement logistics strategies and policies to improve efficiency and reduce costs - Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to transportation and logistics - Manage logistics budgets, ensuring that costs are controlled and within budgetary limits Required Skills - 1+ years in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field - Good communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment - Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze logistics data and identify areas for improvement - Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to negotiate with shipping companies and carriers to obtain the best possible rates and services - Knowledge of logistics software and systems - Understanding of local/state regulations related to transportation and logistics - Experience in managing logistics budgets - Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel/Google Spreadsheets - Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time - Must be able to use a computer and other office equipment The Logistics Executive will primarily work in an office environment. They may be required to travel to shipping facilities, warehouses, or other logistics-related locations.
