Manager

The key responsibilities and activities outlined below are dynamic and may evolve to align with the ongoing development of KPMG Velocity's capabilities and the Digital Transformation Strategy. 

 

Global Finance Reporting: Manage financial reporting for GSC hub ensuring quality, consistency, and stakeholder relevance 

Additional data analytics support: Provide assistance with data analysis, actuals vs budget cost analysis and presentations. 

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, propose recommendations for improving reporting outputs through proactive data review and quality analysis. 

 

Global financial reporting tasks: (40% of time)

Ensure monthly and quarterly financial and tools reporting processes are followed in compliance with KPMG International processes 

Review and standardize data received from Global finance using Excel templates, ensuring accuracy and completeness for Leadership reporting  

Accruals, Actuals and projections tracking for the program, liasing with member firm leads and finance to resolve the issues 

 

Cost analysis and data presentation:  (20% of time)

Work on the cost analysis, able to identify the over or under-spend and highlight the potential savings and opporutnites 

Reporting program status and accomplishments quarterly via ppts, interacting with work-stream owners to gather the data. 

 

Adhoc reporting tasks: (40% of time)

Drive the recruitment process with Global HR for your area, maintaining the resource requsitions 

Managing the procurement process, end to end tracking until PO release 

SAP Invoice approvals

Experience/ Knowledge/ Qualification:

11+ years professional experience 

Demonstrates proficiency in data analysis, report generation, and the use of visualization tools. 

Knowledge of Financial Management methodologies with full financial reporting and governance 

Project workflow awareness – project forecast, lifecycle, budget and planning etc. 

Adept at working with large data sets in Excel utilizing advanced formulas, pivots, and graphs to derive meaningful insights,  and capable of creating comprehensive reports in PowerPoint. 

Exhibits strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and completeness of data.  

Possesses excellent communication skills to build effective relationships and promptly respond to inquiries. 

Displays a proactive attitude and the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement. 

Skilled in adapting written communications to suit diverse audiences. 

Consistently exhibits behaviors aligned with KPMG's values and leadership culture. 

Comfortable working in UK shifts i.e., 11.30am IST to 8pm IST.
