Manager ACH - CAS

Roles & responsibilities

•The Manager should have prior experience in audit attestation domain with a proven experience in audit service delivery. Essential to have team and people management skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships. •Broadly, the key responsibilities are:

Perform audit service delivery –

•Develop deep technical expertise on audit areas. •Manage multiple audit engagements and implement high standards of quality. •Build industry specific knowledge and capabilities within the GDC teams •Demonstrate working knowledge of KPMG Audit methodologies and tools. •Perform reviews of the work prepared by associates and seniors. •Identify opportunities to standardize and optimize audit processes across a portfolio of engagements and industries. •Demonstrate professionalism, industry competence and clarity of communication when dealing with ET •Develop self by participating in and developing others by facilitating audit conceptual trainings and ensuring that team members are trained.

Manage people –

§Develop and assist in the training of professionals; create an environment that fosters learning. §Monitor and supervise progress of professionals, where applicable, and provide performance feedback as needed. §Be a performance manager to mentor and coach professionals on career advancement and provide feedback on their developmental areas §Inculcate the GDC Culture within the team and take strategic measures to involve diverse set of professionals from different background and collaborate effectively to bring out best in everyone. §Take active participation in training programs and recruitment drives.

Improve operational effectiveness through measures of optimizing people utilization and generating efficiencies.

Mandatory  technical & functional skills

§Knowledge of US GAAP and auditing standards §Should possess strong project management, leadership, coaching and people management skills §Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (Verbal and Written) §Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Key behavioral attributes/requirements

§Attention to detail and quality consciousness §Be a quick learner and demonstrate adaptability to change §Should be willing to and capable of delivering under tight timelines, basis the business needs including working on weekends

Should be open to travel to US on short and long term assignments

This role is for you if you have  the below

Educational qualifications

§Qualified CA/US CPA/ACCA and minimum of Bachelors’ degree in Finance & Accounting with first division (60%)

 

Work experience

§5-7 years of post-qualification experience along with strong Articleship experience from a reputed audit firm in case of CA OR §Relevant audit experience of at least 5 years in case of possessing certifications other than CA §Experience with Big 4/leading Audit firms or their shared service center would be preferred.

Experience in Technology, Media and Telecommunications, Healthcare & Life sciences, Industrial Manufacturing industry.
