Manager Analytics, Group Resilience – First Line of Defence
Join LSEG’s Group Resilience team as a specialist focused on ensuring that resilience requirements are consistently met across all divisions and corporate functions. This role is central to monitoring alignment, assessing vulnerabilities, supporting remediation, and ensuring that issues and concerns are appropriately increased to strengthen the Group’s overall resilience posture.
The First Line of Defence (1LoD) Group Resilience team partners closely with business divisions and functional areas (technology, cyber, data, facilities, people, third‑party risk, etc.) to ensure that Operational Resilience requirements—including Important Business Services identification, impact tolerance management, scenario testing, and ongoing reporting—are met in line with regulatory expectations and internal policy.
Collaborating with the Program Manager Group Resilience, the role requires an experienced practitioner who combines technical expertise with strong oversight rigor. The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring compliance, checking alignment to standards, identifying and articulating risks, and supporting remediation activities. They will act as a trusted 1LoD partner, working constructively with customers and the Group 2LoD Risk teams to ensure issues are surfaced early and addressed effectively.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Resilience Monitoring & Assurance
- Monitor divisional and functional alignment to operational resilience policies, standards, controls and metrics
- Conduct structured analytics and checks to assess compliance levels, highlight deviations and provide insights to Group Resilience leadership.
- Monitor vulnerabilities remediation, deviations, issues and overall progress.
- Ensure issues, concerns, and non-compliance themes are intensified promptly.
First Line Partnership & Support
- Work actively with reporting and tooling teams to obtain updates on resilience controls and metrics
- Maintain strong relationships with group and divisional resilience leads and customers.
Governance, Reporting & Documentation
- Support preparation of materials for governance forums and working groups.
- Ensure updates to the monthly Group Resilience forums and communications.
Awareness, Training & Advisory
- Awareness of key changes in resilience standards, guidelines, controls and metrics
- Provide subject matter expertise to uplift analytics capability across 1LoD.
Change & Continuous Improvement
- Support change initiatives within Group Resilience
- Find opportunities to improve monitoring and reporting and build analytical models.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Technical & Regulatory Knowledge
- Ability to assess and analyze risks, issues, tech vulnerabilities and support remediation planning.
- Ability to develop use cases for automation of assurance and analytical activities
- Direct experience working on analysis or assurance of operational resilience standards, controls and metrics would be preferred.
- Bility to correlate risk metrics across resilience domain and problem‑solving skills.
- Understanding of operational resilience frameworks and regulatory expectations (e.g., DORA, PRA, FCA, NIST, ISO 22301/27001).
- Proficient in use of MS Office applications, experienced in use of GRC platforms, reporting tools
Communication, Customer Engagement & Culture
- Articulate and should have the ability to convey complex topics clearly.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to engage across levels.
- Attention to detail.
Desirable Certifications
CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ITIL, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, or similar certifications.
