Manager - Product Integrity Team - Mgr. (QA)

 Roles & responsibilities 
Responsible for management and coordination of all testing activities on assigned projects including definition of testing approach, test strategy, test effort estimation, progress, and status reporting.
Provide leadership to onshore and offshore QA team, which includes accountability for team performance, metrics, and best practices.
Develop and review test plans, test schedules, metrics and resource plans aligned with release timelines. 
Ensure comprehensive test coverage across functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT testing. 
Oversee test execution and ensure timely identification, tracking, and resolution of defects. 
Conduct test case reviews and ensure adherence to quality standards. 
Assess release readiness and provide go/no-go recommendations. 
Lead defect triage discussions and ensure business critical defects are addressed. 
Leverage tools and industry measures for quality readiness through test automation, test coverage and code coverage. 
Drive test automation strategy and adoption across teams. 
Ensure automation is effectively integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
Identify opportunities to optimize testing efforts, reduce cycle times, and eliminate redundant testing. 
Lead, mentor, and coach QA engineers to improve technical skills and quality mindset.

Mandatory  technical & functional skills
Expertise in software quality assurance/engineering and automation.
Strong experience with manual and automated testing methodologies. 
Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, etc.). 
Demonstrated experience with Agile or other Rapid application development methodologies. 
Must have experience in managing and working with distributed and offshore teams. 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
Strong problem-solving and decision making, leadership and people management skills.

B. Tech/B.E/MCA (Computer Science / Information Technology) 
Work experience
Minimum of 9 years of experience in software quality assurance, including 4–5 years in a lead role.
