Modelling Analytics - Assocaite

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct reporting and analytics on model results for Stress (Risk Appetite, CCAR) and Baseline (CECL, Budget) exercises, including qualitative overlays. Go beyond reporting—generate actionable insights and present findings to CRO/CFO, ensuring key messages are clearly communicated.
  • Analyze and interpret quantitative model outputs for loss forecasting. Collaborate with stakeholders such as the Data Team, Modelling Team, Production Team, and Controllers to monitor and track model changes, and proactively identify opportunities for deeper analysis.
  • Streamline processes for both model and non-model components, creating comprehensive datasets for regular use. Communicate enhancements, roadmaps, and progress to relevant teams, including Forecasting, Project Management, Finance, Product Owner, and Technology.
  • Facilitate training and mentoring among peers on cloud capabilities, analytical methods, and reporting tools.
  • Ensure firmwide controls and governance are followed, escalate issues and risks appropriately, and work with stakeholders to resolve and prevent recurrence.
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement, actively seeking new ways to add value and drive better outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in a quantitative field (Finance, Accounting, Business, Stats, Economics, Math, Engineering) or equivalent experience
  • Experience in forecasting or analytics in finance or risk management
  • Proficient in data aggregation and analytical/ML tools (SQL, Python, PySpark), cloud platforms (S3, EMR, SageMaker, Databricks), and productivity tools (JIRA, Confluence, GitHub, IAHUB)
