Job Description

Role: Senior Test Automation Engineer (QA)

Location: Bangalore/Chennai

Who are we looking for?

Mphasis is looking for a Senior Test Automation Engineer with C sharp automation testing to join a dynamic team creating software to develop eCommerce products using Microsoft based tech stack.  The candidate will work collaboratively with the design lead, product owners, and other business stakeholders to understand requirement needs and then work further with development teams to get the requirements into marketable customer-facing products.

Years of experience needed

• 7-10 years of experience

Technical Skills:

• Solid knowledge in automation testing.

• Good experience in Csharp

• Experience in testing web services, Rest REST APIs.

• Hand-on experience in Services testing tools like Fiddler, SOAP UI, POSTMAN.

• Good knowledge in Database & SQL. Ability to create & mine data using SQL queries

• Appium, Selenium or XCUITest for automation testing.

• Charles Proxy or Wireshark for network testing.

• Lambda Test for cross-browser and cross-device testing.

• Experience in any automation tools like Selenium, Protractor, Playwright etc.

• Knowledge of iOS and Android platforms.

• Familiarity with App Store and Play Store guidelines.

• Exposure to create Automation framework like Modular, BDD, POM etc.

• Knowledge and experience in TFS/MTM.

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and working experience in agile environment.

• Experience in Test data setup across multiple modules & ability to understand the data dependencies

• Should have good knowledge of Defect Management process.

Certifications Needed: N/A

• Knowledge in testing web services is desirable.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Successful teamwork experience and demonstrated leadership abilities are required

• Proven ability to transfer knowledge and stay aware of current trends and technical advancements

• Ability to articulate and present different points-of-views on various technologies.
