National Business Head ? HFC

Description

  1. Sales planning for National Business Head - HFC
    • Scan the market across the bank’s zones to understand segment growth potential of each bank and its branches, loan book size, analyze historical performance, etc. to propose the targets for Annual business.
    • Analyze the customer segmentation in terms of demographics, geography, characteristics etc. to assess the potential for business
    • Identify bank for potential tie-up based on competitor actions, strategic partnership, future potential etc. from a long-term perspective

 

    • Operations review of National Business Head - HFC

 

    • Conduct weekly review of team on targets to identify areas of deviations from set objectives, measure performance and give feedback
    • Review other business metrics such as loan book penetration, branch conversion and activation to identify issues and take corrective actions
    • Conduct a meeting with State heads/Geo Heads to understand the market dynamics, ground level feedback and issues faced every month

 

  1. Partner management for National Business Head - HFC
    • Attend Banks ZO, RO, Cluster and branch review meetings to maintain relationship, understand their needs and expectations and resolve any issue.
    • Identify cross-sell opportunities to partners to generate more revenue through bundling/stapling other insurance products (e.g. gold loan)

 

  1. Training and servicing for National Business Head - HFC
    • Understand the needs of partners in terms of explaining the products, customer-product mapping etc. and design training sessions for them.
    • Assist in the training sessions of complex products to explain its nuances and complexities.
    • Identify the issues behind escalated queries related to post sales services (claims, policy documents etc.) to resolve and fix the gap.

 

  1. Team development
    • Participate in recruitment process to identify the right talent at various locations (Pan India) within the function.
    • Conduct gap analysis of training needs of employees (understanding of products, pitching for long term polices etc.) to plan specific training programs

Establish individual performance expectations and regularly review individual performance of the team

Skills Required

 Knowledge of claims and underwriting in insurance.  Experience of managing large team / regional / geography.
