What you will do

  • Work in partnership with HRDs to Lead the design and implementation of a single, global People Services operating model, unifying and centralising HR activities.  
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing, multi-country People Services team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement  
  • Transform HR operations to deliver scalable, efficient, and employee-centric services that meet the needs of a growing global organisation transitioning all administrative tasks where possible into centralised team based across India and Romania.  
  • Create and drive standardisation of processes and policies while ensuring compliance with local employment legislation and regulatory requirements  
  • Maximise the use of HR technology, data, and automation to improve service delivery, insight, and the overall employee experience  
  • Partner closely with HR leadership, business leaders, and key stakeholders to align People Services with organisational strategy and priorities  
  • Establish clear service metrics, governance, and performance management to ensure consistent, high-quality global delivery  
  • Lead change management and communication to successfully embed new ways of working and ensure strong adoption across the business            

What we're looking for

Typical tasks and responsibilities will include:

  • Significant senior leadership experience in HR or People Services, with a proven track record of transforming and scaling HR operations in a complex, multi-country or global organisation  
  • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing centralised or shared service models, bringing together disparate teams, processes, and systems into a single, high-performing function  
  • Deep expertise in HR operations, including employee lifecycle processes, service delivery models, governance, and service management  
  • Strong experience leading and developing large, geographically dispersed teams through periods of change and transformation  
  • Proven ability to leverage HR technology, digital tools, and automation (e.g. HRIS, case management, self-service, data and analytics) to drive efficiency and improve employee experience  
  • Solid understanding of global employment legislation, regulatory frameworks, and risk management, with the ability to balance global consistency and local compliance  
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering at executive level and influencing across countries  
  • Strong change management capability, including communication, engagement, and adoption of new operating models and ways of working  
  • Commercially minded, with experience delivering cost efficiencies, productivity improvements, and measurable value through operational transformation  
  • Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to use insight and metrics to inform decisions, track performance, and continuously improve services  
  • Resilient, adaptable leader with a collaborative, inclusive leadership style and a passion for building sustainable, future-ready people services  

  

Qualifications    

  • Preferred Degrees: Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field   
  • Recognised professional HR qualification (e.g. CIPD Level 7 or international equivalent)  
  • Experience in setup or centralisation of People Services   
  • Experience of operating in a business with Work Counsels or Trade Unions  
  • Experience of operating across UK, Europe, US, India and Asia Pacific  
  • Evidence of continuous professional development in HR, leadership, or organisational transformation  
  • Expertise in HRIS systems (e.g. SAP SuccessFactors) and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) 
  • Experience of deploying Automation and AI within a shared services environment.
