Relevant Work Experience – 5-7 years

Job Description :

An experienced Performance Test Engineer (5+ years) to test large-scale on-premises and cloud-native applications, including REST APIs and web services. The ideal candidate will be skilled in performance testing tools, troubleshooting, and optimizing system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement performance testing strategies.
• Define goals, plan test scenarios, and manage test environments.
• Execute load, stress, and scalability tests using tools like JMeter or Neoload.
• Monitor system performance, analyze results, and identify bottlenecks.
• Work with IT and DevOps teams to resolve performance issues.
• Prepare detailed reports and provide performance improvement recommendations.
• Stay updated on testing trends and tools; mentor junior team members.
• Integrate continuous performance testing into CI/CD pipelines.

Technical Skills:

• 5+ years experience with JMeter, Neoload, HTTP/HTTPS, RESTful APIs, SOAP.
• Familiarity with SQL, NoSQL databases, and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, cloud environments, and monitoring tools (e.g., AppDynamics, Grafana).
• Experience troubleshooting and analyzing system performance metrics and logs.

Soft Skills:

• Strong ownership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to independently generate status reports.
