What would you do? Go beyond processing purchase orders at lower costs to help clients reap savings and value from the billions they spend on the goods and services that run their day-to-day business operations. Procurement Operations involve the process of acquiring goods and services that a business needs to operate. This includes identifying needs, selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing purchase orders. The goal is to obtain quality products at the best possible prices while ensuring timely delivery. Effective procurement operations help control costs, maintain supply chain efficiency, and support overall business objectives. They are essential for the smooth functioning of any organization. Analyze and design the best practices for tactical and transactional procurement processes. Plan implementation based on detailed understanding of technologies involved and best practice process output measures. Provide the setup and ongoing maintenance of suppliers, catalog content, user authorization data and procurement applications to provide efficient and effective transactions, and to help maximize compliance.
What are we looking for? • Supports low dollar sourcing projects of varying complexity • May manage small complexity incumbent negotiations • Manages multiple projects simultaneously • Supports overall project delivery activities with the rest of the project team • Provides data, project or supplier updates to project team and customer regarding project status, deliverables, etc. • Manages/supports execution of deliverables on sourcing projects such as RFx build/management, supplier communication, data, spend/market analysis, negotiation strategy development and execution, etc. • Ensures completeness of project RFx documentation and provides key inputs into the structure of each project. Performs RFx reviews, analysis and/or data management activities • Ensures appropriate and relevant peer and/or quality reviews are completed for each project/deliverable • Works and/or delivers against clearly defined timeline, budget and project/category parameters and targets • Assist in the reporting of project and category specific savings results to customers • Provide analytical support for necessary re-sourcing activities to maintain the competitiveness of category contracts • Individual contributor as a part of a team • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Strong project management skills • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment • Proven ability to work creatively, analytically and proactively in a problem-solving environment • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities at a given time • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills • Excellent client and supplier relationship management skills
Roles and Responsibilities: •In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of increasingly complex problems • Your day to day interactions are with peers within Accenture • You are likely to have some interaction with clients and/or Accenture management • You will be given minimal instruction on daily work/tasks and a moderate level of instruction on new assignments • Decisions that are made by you impact your own work and may impact the work of others • In this role you would be an individual contributor and/or oversee a small work effort and/or team • Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts
