Purchase Executive

Phase 1  (LOCAL and Import Purchasing)

1.       BOQ, Quotation (BFQ),Work order reviews and recommend based on commercial and technical factors.

2.      Review purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company policy.

3.      Raise Purchase order based on Forecast/Indent -follow up with Suppliers keeping constant check on stock levels.

4.      Controlling purchasing department budgets.

5.      Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials, equipment, machinery and supplies.

6.      Identifying potential suppliers, visiting existing suppliers, and building and maintaining good integrity and ethics with them.

7.      Conducting research to ascertain the best products and suppliers in terms of QCD parameters.

8.      Negotiating for Cost Reduction, Credit in Payment terms and agreeing contracts and monitoring the progress with quality of service.

9.      Processing payments and invoices –due for discussion

10.  Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.

11.  Participate in the development of specifications for equipment , products or substitute materials.

12.  Resolve vendor or contractor grievances and claims against suppliers.

13.  Material In warding-due for discussion

14.  Liaising between Suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and Customers.

15.  Analyze market and delivery systems in order to asses present and future material availability.

16.  Inventory Control- due for discussion

17.  Maintain Records of goods ordered and received.

18.  Prepare reports regarding market conditions and merchandise costs.
