Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation development approaches, a solid understanding of various tech stacks, and experience with both UI and open-source automation frameworks. This role requires a proactive individual who can contribute to the enhancement of our automation frameworks and ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using TDD and BDD methodologies.
• Contribute to the design and enhancement of automation frameworks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Perform UI automation using tools such as Playwright and Selenium.
• Utilize open-source automation frameworks like Robot Framework for test automation.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation scripts and frameworks.
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines with Git actions and GitHub workflows.

Must-Have Skills:

• Automation Development Approaches: Experience with TDD and BDD.
• Automation Framework: Ability to understand and contribute to new or enhanced automation frameworks.
• Tech Stack: Proficiency in Python and Java.
• UI Automation: Experience with Playwright and Selenium.
• Open Source Frameworks: Familiarity with Robot Framework.

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Git Actions & GitHub: Knowledge of Git actions, GitHub, and GitHub workflows.

Basic QA Skills:

• Testing Process: Strong experience in testing processes, especially with automation.
• Robotic Framework Expertise: Preferable expertise in Robot Framework with Python.
• Tool Usage: Experience with test management and defect management tools.
• Test Coverage & Planning: Ability to derive test coverage, create test plans, and prioritize tasks.
• Task Management: Capability to handle and own tasks, ensuring follow-up and resolution.
