The person will work on a variety of projects in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. The person will be responsible for software development activities of KPMG, India. Part of the development team, he/she will work on the full life cycle of the process, develop code and unit testing. He/she will work closely with Technical Architect, Business Analyst, user interaction designers, and other software engineers to develop new product offerings and improve existing ones. Additionally, the person will ensure that all development practices are in compliance with KPMG’s best practices policies and procedures. This role requires quick ramp up on new technologies whenever required. 

Responsibilities

Role : Qliksense Developer 

Location: Bangalore

Experience: 7 to 9 years 

• Interpret business needs into technical specs; design, build, and maintain Qlik Sense scripts and dashboards 
• Execute ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows from diverse sources (SQL Server, Oracle, flat files) 
• Model and optimize data structures using star/snowflake schemas, QVD creation, and set analysis 
• Develop interactive visualizations, charts, and tables following best practices 
• Validate data accuracy, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure data governance 
• Provide performance tuning and scalability enhancements to Qlik Sense apps 
• Document technical specifications, data models, and ETL processes 
• Engage with stakeholders through design reviews, demos, and training 

 Required Skills & Qualifications

• Technical:
  • Hands-on Qlik Sense development: scripting, data modeling, dashboards 
  • Proficiency in ETL, QVDs, and set analysis 
  • Strong SQL and RDMS experience (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) 
  • Front end & visualization best practices 
• Soft Skills:
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills 
  • Strong verbal and written communication for stakeholder interaction
  • Experience translating complex reqs into technical delivery

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
