Regional Media Operations Lead

The Regional Media Operations Lead oversees India’s Broadcast Engineering and Production Operations and plays a critical role in global service delivery. Reporting directly to the Global Team Lead for Broadcast Engineering & Production Operations, this leader ensures seamless collaboration with engineering and production teams across North America, Prague, and APAC. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who understands live and recorded broadcast environments, cloud-enabled media workflows, and high-availability production system and who can scale teams and operations in a fast-paced, global environment. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development Lead, mentor, and grow the India based broadcast and production engineering team Establish on-call, escalation, and coverage models aligned with global delivery standards Drive a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement Broadcast & Production Operations Ensure reliable operation of live and recorded broadcast workflows across all supported production events Oversee cloud and hybrid network operations supporting broadcast workloads Own incident management, RCA, and service restoration in coordination with global teams Act as the regional escalation point for complex production and engineering issues Cross‑Regional Collaboration Work closely with engineering and production leaders in North America, Prague, and APAC Communicate clearly with senior stakeholders on risks, incidents, timelines, and delivery status Support global standardization while adapting to regional production needs Ensure strong documentation, knowledge sharing, and operational transparency Must‑Have Technical Qualifications Strong expertise in cloud based and hybrid network operations Strong understanding of IP video networking principles (SMPTE ST 2110, PTP, multicast, QoS) in live broadcast environments Deep understanding of broadcast engineering systems and workflows, including (but not limited to): Evertz Ross Video Riedel Lawo Camera and Audio Technology AWS Elemental Haivision Experience supporting live broadcasts and recorded productions in high availability environments Must‑Have Professional & Leadership Skills Proven experience leading and managing technical teams Strong incident leadership skills, including RCA ownership and service escalation management Ability to drive prioritization, staffing decisions, and cross-functional coordination Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including senior leadership Experience working within Agile or engineering delivery frameworks OKRs Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar Agile ceremonies and workflows Good‑to‑Have Skills Experience with studio technologies and advanced AV production systems, including (but not limited to): Ross, Evertz, Lawo, Disguise, camera and audio technology understanding Familiarity with cloud based media processing, contribution, and distribution workflows Experience supporting global media operations or 24x7 production environments Background in infrastructure modernization or cloud migration initiatives
