Research Analyst - Policy and Political Research

Research Analyst

1. Conducting in-depth research on Geo-politics, legislative matters, Governance, policy issues and socio-economic developments. 
2. Collect, Analyse and interpret large datasets related to policy & politics. 
3. Writing, analysing reports pertaining to political intelligence and primary research and provide insights and recommendations through presentations. 
4. Evaluate the impact of policy decisions on various stakeholders. Comparative policy analysis. 
5. Passion and awareness in both International, National and State level politics and governance. 
6. Must be proficient in analysis of economic survey and government budgets. 
7. Stakeholder engagement 
8. Work closely with other researchers, policymakers and stakeholders to identify research priorities, design studies and disseminate findings. 
9. Social listening/ Focused group discussions 
10. To be updated with new Research methods, data sources, and policy developments in relevant fields

Preferred Qualification and Skills:

- Any graduation preferably in Political Science, Public Policy, Social Work,

Law, Global Governance, International Relations, Journalism and Mass Media Communications

- UPSC aspirants who have cleared their prelims and given attempts to Mains can also apply

- Strong analytical and writing skills

- Working knowledge of Data analytical tools like Power BI and presentation skills.

Languages preferred:

Reading & Writing - Kannada along with English and Hindi
