Job Description

Your Responsibilities:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced RTR Fixed Assets Senior Accountant to join our Record to Report team in ADM Global Capability Center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for perform and review Fixed Assets activities, monthly closing, CIP monitoring and Balance Sheet reconciliations. This role also involves supervising, guiding the large team who is able to meet the deliverables, as well as training and socializing them at various levels of the organization.

• FA Operations: Ability to review Capitalization, Disposals and Transfers, CIP aging and monitoring, Lease Accounting, month end close processes, reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and other processes performed by the FAPA (Fixed Asset and Project Accounting) team members to ensure tasks are performed correctly, with proper support and per policy and/or established process.
• Process Controls: Support to define, maintain, review, and control process documentation to ensure it is up-to-date and compliant with company standard. Develop a process to continually audit these processes to ensure adherence to ADM standards/controls related to these tasks. Ensure completion of SOX relevant controls as applicable.
• KPIs: Ensure Fixed Assets KPIs are met consistently and focus on improvement opportunities
• Stakeholder Engagement: Ensure stakeholder feedback is being heard and implemented. With a proactive approach in problem solving and working with cross functional team members in finance/operations and navigate the team appropriately
• Process Improvement: Drive standardization, simplification and automation of global Fixed Assets end-to-end processes and provide recommendations for ownership and positioning of key processes across Finance, Tax, Audit and Plant Operations.  

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field such as Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent work experience is preferred
• Qualified accountant (CA/ ACCA) is preferred with at least 8 plus years of experience in RTR domain and Agricultural industry experience would be a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of operational experience in Fixed Assets accounting
• Ability to work the diverse team, highlight the risk and deliver the goals set.
• Ability to adapt to rapid and emerging changes in the business and technological environment.
• Skill in influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization to implement changes.
• Focus on achieving set goals and objectives, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently, collaborative and deliver high-quality results within deadlines
• Proven track record of successfully implementing continuous improvement initiatives and performance in complex organizations.
