SAP S4 HANA Techno-Functional Consultant

Roles & Responsibilities :
Techno-Functional Consultant to support the implementation of global eInvoicing and S4 HANA Service Management requirements.

• Expertise in functional area of Service Management (Field Service, Customer Service)

• Extensive work experience in SAP S4 HANA Service Management processes

• Develop and enhance SAP objects for eInvoicing, including reports, interfaces, mappings, and extensions.

• Implement technical components for SAP DRC/eDocument Framework (BAPIs, RFCs, XML mappings).

• Build and maintain integrations with middleware (SAP CPI/BTP, or equivalent).

• Support generation and validation of XML/JSON/UBL-based eInvoice payloads.

• Resolve technical issues related to eInvoicing errors, API failures, certificates, and connectivity.

• Collaborate with functional consultants to translate functional specs into technical designs.

• Perform unit testing, support UAT, and assist in production deployments.
  

Educational qualification:

B.E. / B.Tech. / MBA

Experience :

6+ years of experience in SAP consulting and technical delivery roles

Mandatory/requires Skills :

• Understanding and translation of sales and service business processes and requirements into technical S4 HANA solution.

• Familiarity with integration points (e.g., SD, CS, MM, FICO) and a proven track record of successful end-to-end S/4HANA Service implementations are key.

• Strong SAP ABAP development expertise (OO ABAP, Enhancements, BADIs, BAPIs).

• Experience in interface development (SOAP APIs, Proxy/ODATA, SAP CPI/BTP, REST API).

• Understanding of XML/JSON structures and transformation tools (mapping frameworks).

• Knowledge of invoice processes (FI/SD/MM) and tax data flows (VAT, fields, document structures).

• Ability to analyze logs, troubleshoot integration errors, and optimize performance.

Preferred Skills :

• Experience with SAP DRC / eDocument Framework or country-specific eInvoicing implementations.

• Exposure to international eInvoicing standards (Peppol, FatturaPA, XRechnung, KSeF, ZATCA, etc.).
