SAP FICO with RAR Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and configure SAP RAR to meet business and compliance requirements.
• Work with finance teams to ensure proper revenue recognition under IFRS 15/ASC 606.
• Design and customize revenue recognition rules and integration with SAP SD, FI-CO, and BRIM modules.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business requirements and translate them into system solutions.
• Ensure end-to-end integration of SAP RAR with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Develop and execute test cases, conduct UAT, and support post-go-live activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to SAP RAR and revenue recognition.
• Provide training and documentation for end-users and finance teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in SAP Finance (FICO) with 3+ years of hands-on SAP RAR experience.
• Strong understanding of IFRS 15 / ASC 606 revenue recognition standards.
• Experience with SAP SD, FI-CO, BRIM, or S/4HANA integration.
• Expertise in RAR contract management, performance obligations, event-based revenue recognition, and revenue deferrals.
• Experience in data migration, RAR reporting, and reconciliation processes.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA RAR is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders, finance teams, and IT professionals.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP BRIM (Billing and Revenue Innovation Management).
• Understanding of project-based revenue recognition.
• SAP certification in RAR or FICO is a plus.
