Summary:
As a Palo Alto Networks L2 Security Analyst, you are required to support day-to-day operations, monitoring, and administration of enterprise network security platforms. This role focuses on operational support, configuration management, incident handling, and troubleshooting of Palo Alto Networks technologies under defined processes and standards. The L2 analyst works closely with L3 SMEs, and cloud teams to ensure secure, stable, and
compliant firewall and network security services across enterprise environments.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide L2 operational support for Palo Alto Networks security platforms.
- Perform firewall policy administration, rule reviews, and change implementations
following approved change processes.
- Support day-to-day monitoring, alert handling, and ticket resolution related to Palo
Alto firewalls and security services.
Handle incident triage and initial troubleshooting, escalating complex issues to L3 as
required.
- Configure and maintain, Security policies and objects, NAT/PAT rules, VPN
configurations (IPSec / SSL), Logging and reporting settings
- Support security features such as Threat Prevention, URL Filtering, WildFire, and IPS.
- Assist with firewall upgrades, patching, and platform maintenance activities under
guidance.
- Participate in incident management, ensuring timely response and resolution within SLAs.
- Support change management activities including impact assessment, implementation, and validation.
- Assist in problem investigations, data collection, and root-cause analysis support.
- Maintain accurate CMDB records, tickets, and operational documentation.
- Follow defined security standards, SOPs, and runbooks.
- Contribute to operational improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives.


Professional & Technical Skills:
-- 4–7 years of experience in network security or security operations.
-- Hands-on experience with:
-- Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW)
-- Firewall rule management and security policy configuration
-- VPN (IPSec / SSL), NAT, routing fundamentals
-- Experience working in enterprise or large-scale IT environments
-- Exposure to Prisma Access or Prisma Cloud (operational level).

Additional Information:
- Candidates must hold PCNSA – Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator (Mandatory) certifications

- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
