Roles & responsibilities

Learning Design & Development

Design and develop high-quality instructional materials for in-person, virtual, and selfpaced learning formats (e.g., eLearning, microlearning, simulations, job aids).Apply adult learning principles, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and learning technologies to create impactful learning experiences.Ensure content aligns with audit standards, methodology updates, and regulatory changes.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Partner with Audit Learning Managers and Assistant Managers and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate complex audit concepts into learner-friendly content.Facilitate design workshops and feedback sessions to iterate and refine learning solutions.

Project Management

Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.Maintain documentation, version control, and project tracking using appropriate tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, SharePoint).

Evaluation & Continuous Improvement

Develop assessments and feedback mechanisms to evaluate learning effectiveness and impact.

Analyse learner data and feedback to inform continuous improvement of learning programs.

 

Work experience

Experience working in or with audit, assurance, or risk management teams.Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) such as Cornerstone, SAP SuccessFactors (preferred), or Moodle.Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.Certification in instructional design or learning technologies (e.g., CPLP, ATD, APTD).

Preferred technical & functional skills

Instructional Design

Applying adult learning principles and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM)Designing for multiple formats: in-person, virtual, eLearning, microlearning

Technical Skills

Proficiency in digital learning tools (Articulate 360, Storyline, Captivate, Rise, Camtasia, Synthesia)Familiarity with LMS platforms (Cornerstone, SuccessFactors, Moodle)Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design

Audit Knowledge

Understanding audit methodology and regulatory requirementsExperience designing technical or compliance-related training

Project Management

Managing multiple design projectsUsing tools like Microsoft Project, Asana, SharePoint for tracking and documentation

Collaboration & Communication

Partnering with Audit Learning teamFacilitating workshops and feedback sessionsStrong written and verbal communication

Educational qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development, or a related field.3+ years of experience in instructional design, preferably in a corporate or professional services environment.Strong understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies, and digital learning tools (e.g., Articulate 360 (preferred), Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Rise, Camtasia, Synthesia, etc).Experience designing technical or compliance-related training (audit, finance, risk, or similar fields preferred).

Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
