Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your financial planning and analysis expertise in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You’ll work alongside collaborative, forward-thinking, and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in providing a fair and transparent view of Alstom's financial performance, enabling data-driven decision-making at global, regional, cluster, or site levels. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Region FP&A, Operations Finance, and Treasury/Tax/Accounting teams), analyze financial data, and support operational and commercial teams with insightful reporting and ad hoc analyses.
You’ll specifically take care of preparing accurate financial results and forecasts, as well as analyzing key financial metrics, but also contribute to improving and streamlining financial processes and reporting systems.
We’ll look to you for:
Ensuring timely collection, processing, and analysis of financial data
Preparing actual financial results, forecasts, and variance analyses
Providing early warning signals and generating insights for business decision-making
Maintaining and enhancing financial analytical reporting systems
Analyzing Cash KPIs, including free cash flow, EBIT to cash, operating working capital, overdues, and down payments
Supporting budgeting and monthly reporting activities for cash-related items
Managing Forex hedging relations and FX exposure reporting
Participating in the preparation and presentation of monthly business reviews
Controlling indirect cost centers and overseeing overhead and contract reporting
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with group strategies
Identifying cost optimization opportunities and detecting trends in KPIs
All about you
We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
Master’s degree in Finance or equivalent (CA/CMA preferred)
