Senior Analyst, Investment Research & Analytics
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the review and analysis of investment data on external investment managers to formulate recommendations for program managers and clients. They will assist in the selection, evaluation/ monitoring, and replacement of external investment managers. The role is expected to independently own end‑to‑end delivery of assigned analytics and reporting outputs, with accountability for data quality, controls, and stakeholder readiness.


Major Duties
•Prepare and deliver investment analytics including performance, risk, attribution, portfolio evaluation, and portfolio construction analyses to support Portfolio Managers and investment decision‑making.
•Review and analyze investment and external manager data to support selection, monitoring, and replacement recommendations.
•Identify, analyze, and resolve data issues, ensuring accurate corrections across relevant systems and downstream reports.
•Ensure the quality, accuracy, and consistency of all analytics and reporting outputs through disciplined controls and validation checks.
•Support and enhance standardized processes, data frameworks, and reporting workflows across MMS.
•Contribute to management metrics, reporting packs, and investment committee materials.
•Support ad‑hoc analytical requests and team projects within defined timelines.
•Identify and drive process, tool, and analytics enhancements, including use of Python, Power BI, or similar technologies.
•Act as a subject‑matter resource for junior team members through guidance, mentoring, and knowledge sharing (no formal people management).
•Interact with senior stakeholders and investment committees in a supporting and analytical capacity, as required, adhering to all legal, compliance, and governance standards.


Knowledge/Skills
Candidate Profile – Must Have

Internal - 24 months as Analyst(P1)

12 months as Senior Analyst/Associate/Consultant(P2)
•2–4 years of relevant experience in Asset Management industry.
•Strong numerical and analytical skills with ability to interpret and validate quantitative data.
•Excellent attention to detail and commitment to deadlines.
•Advanced proficiency in Excel (formulas, functions; VBA/macros a plus).
•Ability to independently investigate discrepancies and think through data issues logically.
•Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work with global stakeholders.
•Exposure to Python, SQL, Power BI (or similar analytics/automation tools).
•Knowledge of investment analytics, portfolio reporting, risk or performance concepts.


Good to Have / Added Advantage
•Certifications such as CFA / FRM / CIPM (or progress toward them).
•Exposure to analytical tools like Factset, Morningstar, eVestment
•Prior experiences in Multi Manager / Multi Asset domain.
