We are looking for an experienced Word and PPT designer to support the Pursuits team, this role will be an induvial contributor to work for a team. A person who can creatively visualize and work as per the team’s instructions. The role would be to:

•Create high-end, original concepts and deliverables primarily in Powerpoint and Word formats which adhere to KPMG corporate style and brand.•Collaborate with KPMG’s internal design team to develop technical knowledge and manage rapid response requests for design, print and electronic deliverables within the KPMG brand.•Create visually compelling templates and documents, reports, and collateral that clearly communicate our messaging.•Design images, charts and infographics to effectively communicate key messages and simplify complicated data (Adobe Creative Suite).•Ensure projects meet technical requirements, objectives and timelines while upholding our brand standards.•Manage and prioritize your projects providing strategic guidance when needed.•Execute routine design projects, effectively prioritizing work and balancing multiple priorities simultaneously.•Proofread documents for typographical errors and inconsistencies in layout.•Flexibility to meet project demands in order to produce the required output, on time. Deal with ad hoc enquiries and rapid response requests.•Create a repository of frequently used designs for faster turnaround times.•Routinely demonstrate drive and resilience, working flexibly in a pressurized and deadline-driven environment.

Educational qualifications

•Post-secondary education, preferably with a focus on graphic design or equivalent.

Work experience

•4+ years’ experience working on professional graphics deliverables.Mandatory technical and functional skills•High technical skill set with an expertise in MS Office applications e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook.•Must have advanced skillset with built in PPT animations and slide transitions.•Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) will be a plus.•Knowledge of best practices for page layout, typography, color, navigation and information design across print and web.•Proactively aware of design trends and cultural design aesthetics.•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, working with staff at all levels.•Focuses on delivering quality service and demonstrates attention to detail.•Creating and managing documents, formatting text, paragraphs and sections, creating tables and lists, applying references and inserting and formatting objects.•Including advanced tasks like using templates creation, tables, and mail merge•A good understanding of the role of a brand within an organization and the importance of consistent corporate identity and communications.•Professional, confident and enthusiastic team player with a flexible can-do attitude.•Strong portfolio featuring presentation decks, design systems, animation, reports etc.•Excellent communication skills, ability to clearly explain design concepts and solutions and accept constructive feedback.•Strong problem-solving skills, detail oriented, ability to perform under pressure.
