Senior Application Developer

As a member of the IT organisation, assist with the analyse of existing complex programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems. Prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs. Develop conversion and system implementation plans. Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards. 

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. B Tech or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.

Within OAL, the CDI (Customer Data and Integrations) group utilises the latest Oracle Cloud FMW technologies to develop the integration solutions associated with the roll-out of new Cloud Integrations, products and business processes.  Working closely with functional and business experts and by utilising the latest technologies such as Oracle Integration Cloud service-ICS, Fusion Middleware 12C (SOA, BPEL, OSB, B2B), Java, Spring, Kafka, OJET.  We are involved in design and development of real-time and batch integration solutions between Oracle Core Applications, Providing B2B communications to Trading partners.

Duties involved in this position:

  •  Develop and support the integration solutions associated with the roll-out of new Cloud Integrations, products and business processes  using ICS, Custom Applications and tools, Fusion Middleware 12C.
  •  Design and  development of application using OJet, java script & Oracle database technologies.
  •  Working on new technologies and demonstrating the use of various technologies [Kafka, Kubernetes, Java] for application development  helping Integration requirements.
  •  Develop and implement new custom tools and product extensions/ customisations based on state of the art algorithms in optimisation,  statistics and machine learning.  

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate / Post Graduate (B.E. / B.Tech., M.E. /M.Tech. / MCA) from reputed universities with an aggregate score of 70% and above.
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience in leading the team and to work with global team effectively.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • A minimum of 3+ years IT experience with exposure to Oracle technologies.
  • Having exposure to Oracle FMW technologies knowledge (SOA, BPEL, OSB, XML, XSD, XSLT, XQUERY, SOAP, REST, WSDL).
  • Expert in Javascript ,Jquery, XML, JSON, OJET, Kafka, Kubernetes
  • Excellent knowledge of REST Web service, Oracle database, PLSQL
  • Strong analysis skills including translating requirements into solutions and working with business users.
  • Self motivated with demonstrated organisational skills.
