Senior Associate 1 PI - BPG

Roles & responsibilities

•Develop understanding of the data solution by reviewing requirements/user stories, Execution guide and other documents provided by Project Manager.•Assign tasks to team members, monitor their progress, and provide guidance and clarifications as needed.•Defect management using bug tracking tools like JIRA and participates in continuous defect review process.•Review/ prepare Test plan & approach and get Tool Owner's/Project Manager's sign off.•Provide clarifications, train and mentor associates on a timely basis on industry specific audit and accounting knowledge.•Report test progress and outcomes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of test results.•Identifies opportunities for process improvements working in collaboration with the requirements, development, and project management groups.•Develop test cases by understanding the nuances of the tool and prepare Testing Coverage Matrix against the business requirements/user stories•Collaborate with product owner, business analyst and development teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.•Develop test strategies for new features ensuring that all edge cases and scenarios are covered.•Continuously improve test processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and test coverage.•Execute established QA methodologies, processes and test strategies that guide Agile software testing and contribute to overall quality of applications.

Perform various types of testing including, functional, regression, integration, exploratory and automated testing.

Mandatory technical & functional skills

•Experience/good understanding of Data Analytics/software testing concepts•Good knowledge of Alteryx and Power Bi applications.•Good knowledge of automated frameworks and tools such as Selenium, TestNG or Webdriver IO.•Hands-on experience working in Agile environment on manual testing and automated testing.•Familiarity with JIRA/Zephyr for tracking defects and managing test cases.•Must have experience working with distributed team members.•Effectively communicate with stakeholders keeping them updated on the progress.•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.•Good knowledge of MS Office (with an emphasis on MS Excel skills).

Should be willing to and capable of delivering under tight timelines, basis the business needs including working on weekends

Educational qualifications

MBA/B.com with good understanding of accounting / auditing concepts and experience/good understanding of Data Analytics/software testing concepts

Work experience of 1-3 years in software quality assurance, testing and automation
