Senior Associate - Tax R&D - Bangalore

Roles & responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our Tax-R&D team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development, testing and a comprehensive understanding of various software technologies and methodologies. This role involves conducting qualitative reviews, analyzing technical documentation, and supporting project execution across multiple industries.

―Conducting qualitative review of activities pertaining to software development, laboratories, computing and industrial facilities, data centers, etc.―Proficiency in software testing and development.―Conducting review of technical information and technical documentation received from clients’ software development subject matter experts, including engineers and technical specialists to discover information that represents research and development activities.―Reviewing interview transcripts of clients’ subject matter experts, including scientists, engineers, architects, technical specialists―Understanding different software development methodologies, software design patterns, and high-level software architecture concepts. Examples include: Object Oriented Programming, Big Data, RDBMS design concepts, high level concepts relating to emerging software technologies including IoT, Blockchain, Big Data, AI, ML.―Supporting teams of client and KPMG personnel in the execution of work, monitor and support progress against project milestones to help ensure timely and high-quality delivery of deliverables across a variety of clients within multiple industries―Preparing client technical reports and work papers―Organizing documentation and create deliverables―Writing clear, comprehendible and exhaustive emails

 

This role is for you if you have  the below

Experience & Qualifications:

―Qualifications: Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or similar discipline from Tier 1 or Tier 2 College. Coursework or minor in information systems or data and analytics preferred―0-4 years of relevant experience in a software engineering role, will be preferred―Excellent written and verbal communication skills―Familiarity in Microsoft Excel and Word.―Strong deductive reasoning, critical thinking and analytical abilities―Attention to detail―Prioritization and time management skills―Effective team player―Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results in demanding situations 

Key behavioral attributes/requirements 

—Experience in new product designs, including prototype and pilot model development and testing— Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, C, C++, C#, Visual Basic, or similar. Working knowledge of or familiarity with SQL, database concepts, cloud technology (AWS, Azure) common software design patterns, data structures and algorithms, common computer infrastructure concepts, web-based or n-tiered architectures, SOA, micro-services, databases, middleware, Big Data is strongly preferred—Experience documenting software development projects—Strong project management skills—Familiarity in analytical tools including Alteryx and Power BI
