Senior Azure M365 Engineer

Role Overview:

As a senior member of the Workforce Engineering Team, you will lead the design, implementation, and support of Microsoft 365 services, with a strong focus on Exchange Online, security & compliance, and collaboration tools. This role requires deep technical expertise in M365 technologies, advanced troubleshooting skills, and the ability to drive migrations and transformation initiatives in a hybrid or cloud-first environment. This position will play a huge role in moving McAfee forward in our Exchange M365 journey.

This is a hybrid position based in Bangalore. You must be within a commutable distance from the location. You will be required to be onsite on an as-needed basis; when not working onsite, you will work remotely from your home location.

About the Role:

• Design and implement scalable and secure M365 solutions, particularly focused on Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, and OneDrive 

• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Exchange Online, supporting hybrid configurations, mail flow, security, and compliance settings. 

• Lead migration projects from on-premises exchanges or third-party platforms to Exchange Online. 

• Configure and maintain Microsoft 365 tenant settings, including licensing, policies, security, and feature rollout. 

• Create and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks and reporting. 

• Stay current with Microsoft 365 product developments and advise stakeholders on new features and best practices.

About You:

• 8–12 years of experience in IT infrastructure with a focus on Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 services. 

• Hands-on experience managing Exchange Online, hybrid Exchange environments, and email migrations. 

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Center, Entra Connect, and Intune. 

• Expertise in PowerShell scripting for M365 and Exchange Online administration. 

• Deep understanding of email hygiene, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, Microsoft Defender for Office 365, and SendGrid SMTP experience.
