Sr EDI Ops Lead 

 

The Sr EDI Ops Lead will be responsible for managing EDI DevOps team that supports electronic data interchange (EDI) processes and systems within an organization. This role involves ensuring data integrity, troubleshooting EDI issues, and collaborating with IT and business teams to optimize EDI workflows. In this role the person will be reporting to the manager of the Enterprise Integration (EI) Platform and DevOps team working on various projects across the enterprise. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead and mentor a team of EDI Ops analysts, providing guidance and support. 

• Responsible for Managing EDI transactions and coordinate with trading partners to ensure SLAs are met. 

• Troubleshoot and resolve EDI issues to maintain data integrity and availability. 

• Collaborate with IT, operations, and business teams to align EDI initiatives with organizational goals and implement best practices. 

• Manage EDI integration projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure timely completion. 

• Document EDI Mapping spec working with Business and Trading partners. 

• Provide training and support to team members on EDI processes and systems. 

• Document EDI processes and ensure compliance with business standards. 

• Cadence with leadership team for Ops reports and project status. 

• Flexible on-call/weekend support rotation as applicable. 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field. 

• 10+ years of experience in EDI operations or related field with at least 3 years in a leadership role. 

• Proficiency in EDI standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT), EDI software (IBM Sterling, Cleo etc.), and data formats (e.g., XML, CSV). 

• Experience with EDI mapping and translation software. 

 

 

 

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and Interpersonal skills.  Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience with leading EDI migration projects is a plus. 

• Incident and Change Management experience with Service NOW or related 

• Experience integrating with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)  

• Experience with DB SQL knowledge and Data visualization is a plus  

• Knowledge of XML and other data formats. 

• Any EDI related Certification is a plus.
