Senior Executive - Firewall & Security

We are seeking a security-focused professional with hands-on expertise in network security and firewall operations. The role involves managing and securing the organization’s network infrastructure, ensuring compliance with global standards and industry best practices. The individual will be responsible for policy management, day-to-day operations, issue resolution, and maintaining security posture across the enterprise environment.

• Manage and administer enterprise firewalls (Palo Alto Networks, Cisco ASA) including policy configuration, rule management, objects, zones, VPN setup, and high availability
• Design and implement secure network architectures aligned with global security standards (ISO 27001, NIST) and Zero Trust principles
• Act as the technical escalation point for complex network security issues, performing deep-packet analysis and providing detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Conduct periodic firewall rule-base audits and cleanup to ensure compliance with corporate security policies and global audit requirements
• Interpret pen-test results, perform vulnerability assessments, and implement mitigation strategies to reduce security risks
• Configure and manage URL filtering, application control, SSL/TLS inspection, IDS/IPS, DNS security, and apply knowledge of modern cloud-based security concepts (SASE, CASB/SSE)
• Maintain platform documentation, high-level network diagrams, policy flow diagrams, and technical operational runbooks
• Demonstrate hands-on experience with LAN/WAN/Data Center architectures and core network services such as TCP/IP, DNS, NAT, Policy-Based Routing, and ACLs
• Experienced in using ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow with good understanding of change, incident, and problem management processes
• Knowledge of SolarWinds or similar monitoring platforms for capacity and health checks
• Utilize scripting and APIs to automate routine operational tasks while leveraging advanced network analysis tools and utilities for troubleshooting and performance optimization
• Manage technical relationships with vendors to resolve high-level support cases and track critical hardware/software lifecycles
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with existing systems and applications
• Stay updated on technologies, emerging threats, and security trends to strengthen enterprise security
• Strong team player with effective communication skills and the ability to translate technical risks into business impact
• Flexible and willing to work extended hours when required to support critical operations
