Department/Group Description:

The Global HR Operations team is responsible for the strategic development and execution of HR services and information to employees, managers, and HR partners throughout the Enterprise.

Job Summary and Purpose:

GHRO Analyst will assist GHRO Manager to deliver services related to whole employee life cycle event, including on boarding, off boarding, job change and other HR work life cycle movement. The role will support the development of the overall processes and focus on the execution and service delivery. This person will work closely with HR, business at all levels to facilitate successful and smooth cast member experience. The role will be called upon from time to time to manage special projects arising from rapidly evolving development of the organization.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

Transaction Processing

  • Be responsible for delivery services to support employee On-Boarding, Off boarding and other work life cycle events. Administer policy in accordance with compliance and business needs to accurately process numerous types of employee work life events via system transactions.
  • Primary point-of-contact for other HR partners/vendors to improve process efficiency and cast experience.
  • Apply and interpret applicable policies to manage specific transactions, such as payroll data preparation, commercial insurance data management, knowledge article update, relocation support, etc.. Work together with other HR partners/vendors on change management related to policy changes in reflection to legislation requirement or business needs.
  • Deliver compliance auditing to ensure accuracy and high standards of work within team
  • Proactively analyses daily work and find opportunity for improvement initiatives and drive enhancement for better cast touch experience
  • Provide coaching and support to junior team members

Enterprise Inquiries/ Customer Service

  • Consistently respond to cast member inquiries with a high level of professionalism to ensure excellent level of customer service.
  • Utilize knowledge management tools to provide accurate information to employees across the region.
  • Respond in, and utilize, case tool to document the details of employee inquiry information.
  • Research and resolve issues according to defined scope and in alignment with local and country/regional legislation.
  • Be able to solve conflict and apply problem solving for complex query and make necessary escalation upon needs
  • Regularly review processes & practices to identify opportunities for improvements
  • Ability to exemplify the values of the Disney and share those values with clients and team.
  • Partner and interact with employees at all levels within Disney

System Knowledge and usage

  • Understanding system functionality for Enterprise HR Systems (Workday, SAP, Service Now)
  • Perform testing to system configuration based on testing script and escalate defects/system issues found in testing to development team
  • Perform assessments of current and future state processes, identify and escalate gaps / risks, and provide recommendations on mitigation
  • Identify areas of opportunity for future enhancements to increase efficiency and consistency, and improve employee experience
  • Develop and communicate job aids, end user operating guides, and business processes
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of the business and takes a consultative approach in anticipating, assessing, and providing creative HR solutions to business priorities
  • Provides consultation to clients by partnering on moderately complex HR processes, procedures, precedents and initiatives integrating appropriate centers of excellence (COE) partners as necessary

Job Requirements:

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Human Resources
  • Experience with shred services and HR processes preferred
  • Proven experience with Workday and SAP is preferred

Skills / Specialized Knowledge/Competencies

  • Ability to drive HR processes and to deliver high quality HR services in a fast paced, highly dynamic/changing environment
