Senior Layout Lead/Manager

Roles:

• Senior Layout Lead/Manager for Analog Mixed Signal IP/IC Methodology, Quality and Delivery
• Subject Matter Expert for IP View Generation, IP Packaging, Third Party IP Landing, Tools Evaluation and License Management

Responsibilities:

• Content Definition of the IP views needed for different SOC flows.
• Defining the methodology for generation and validation of all the IP views.
• Subject matter expert to front end with the SOC teams to understand their requirements and set up the work methodology to ensure quality and timely deliveries.
• Single point contact with EDA tool vendors to evaluate the offerings and finalize the configuration of the tools which best suits the requirements of the AMS organization.
• Setting up the quality matrix for IP/IC deliveries for flawless workflow.
• Setting up the best workflow to land the 3^rd party licensed IP to unpackage and repackage for seamless integration in the SOC flow. This includes the foundation IP like standard cell, IO, ESD and memories.
• Single point contact for managing the product life cycle management from managing the IP requirements, change management, bug tracking and quality management.
• Coordinating and working with internal and external technology partners to ensure that PDK has the right technology content for Analog Mixed Signal IC/IP requirements.
• Define the framework for virtuoso or similar design environment to include all the required tools for seamless design flow. Driving the co-development of IP platform with external/internal EDA vendors.
• Benchmarking the IP CAD quality.
• Automating every possible design process to drive efficiency of tools and resources.
