 Inviting applications for the role of Manager/Senior Manager – Asset Transition, Wealth Operations! 

In this role, you would be responsible for responsible for back-office functions for our client.  In Back-office functions you will primarily be working on Mutual Fund Income. You will be responsible for Custody and accounting asset/securities transfers from / to brokers, Fund Managers, Custodians etc. You will also be responsible for Tax Lot and book adjustments and rebooking of failed trades. 

Responsibilities 

• Good understanding of financial products like US Domestic Equities, Global Equities, Bonds, Mutual Funds, MBS, SWAPS etc. 

• Good knowledge of reconciliation, reporting, Trade Settlements lifecycle, corporate actions and Accruals. 

• Candidate should have basic knowledge of different types of tax, Tax code, Tax lot, Date of Death, Beneficiary, Inheritance etc. 

• Basic understanding of Upstream process, downstream of process of Asset transfer process is required 

• Should know the stock in’s & out’s (Free Receipt/Delivery) process and be able to connect with counterparties effectively. 

• Understanding around business transitions and required documentation will have added advantage. 

• Experience of posting transactions on accounting & custody book for exception resolution is required. 

• Good knowledge of MS Excel is required.  

• Experience of applications like Global Plus, AddVantage, Trust Desk & Intellimatch applications would have added advantage. 

• Candidate should have exposure around audits (internal and external) and strong understanding around Risk and Control framework 

• Establish strong relationship with onshore counterparts and should be capable of handling Onshore Queries and Issues.

Minimum Qualifications 

• Any Graduate (PG an added advantage)  

• Effective probing & root cause analysis skills  

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills 

• Relevant work experience in an Associate role is desirable.  

• Previous experience in a middle/back office in financial services firm
