Senior Manager - Business Finance
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Business Finance professional to join our dynamic team. The candidate will be responsible for providing strategic financial insights, managing financial planning and analysis, and driving financial performance across the supply chain functions, including last mile delivery, sourcing and onboarding, customer support, and other logistics operations. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain, financial management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
● Financial Planning & Analysis (MOP, QOP & AOP):
○ Lead the financial planning and forecasting process for supply chain functions.
○ Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making processes related to last mile delivery, sourcing and onboarding, and customer support.
○ Provide in-depth financial analysis and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain operations.
● Business Partnering:
○ Collaborate with supply chain leaders to provide financial guidance and support for operational decisions.
○ Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the supply chain and finance teams.
○ Drive financial accountability and performance within supply chain functions.
● Cost Management & Efficiency:
○ Analyze and monitor costs, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
○ Partner with supply chain operations to implement cost control measures and optimize resource allocation.
○ Evaluate the financial impact of supply chain initiatives and projects, providing recommendations to improve profitability.
● Performance Management:
○ Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
○ Prepare and present financial reports, dashboards, and presentations to senior management.
○ Implement and monitor performance metrics to ensure alignment with the financial goals.
● Finance:
○ Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial accounts closing processes for supply chain functions ensuring accuracy and integrity of financial statements and reports.
○ Monitor and manage working capital, cash flow, and liquidity specific to supply chain operations.
● Team Leadership:
○ Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals.
○ Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration within the finance team.
Qualifications:
● CA or MBA with relevant experience of 7+ years, preferably in a supply chain or logistics environment.
● Proven track record of success in financial planning, analysis, and strategic financial management, stakeholder and team management.
● Strong understanding of supply chain operations and financial drivers.
● Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
● Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders and ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
● Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
