Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the infrastructure as code using Terraform or Cloud Formation to automate the provisioning of cloud resources.
• Create and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for configuration management and application deployment.
• Implement continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins or similar tools to automate software builds, testing, and deployments.
• Manage and orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability in the deployment process.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production environments to ensure high availability and performance.
• Implement and maintain version control and release management strategies using Git and GitHub Actions.
• Automate repetitive tasks and streamline operational workflows using scripting languages like Python or JavaScript.
• Stay up to date with emerging DevOps trends and technologies and evaluate their applicability to the organization's infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in scripting languages like Python or JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and hands-on experience with Jenkins or similar tools.
• Proficiency in version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
