Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of overall experience in DevOps, Build & Release, or System Administration roles.

• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud environments.

• Strong knowledge of DevOps tools, CI/CD, and code repository systems (GitLab, JFrog).

• Proficiency in Shell or Perl scripting, and working knowledge of UNIX and Windows command-line environments.

• Experience with automated build tools such as Jenkins, Hudson, CloudBees, or TeamCity.

• Familiarity with deployment of applications on IIS, JBOSS, IBM WebSphere, and web/database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server).

• Solid understanding of change/release management and software lifecycle processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and related tools.

• Work closely with development teams to convert existing manual build, release, and deployment processes into automated Jenkins pipelines.

• Manage source code repositories and artifact management tools such as GitLab and JFrog Artifactory.

• Configure and deploy application releases on web and application servers (IIS, JBOSS, IBM WebSphere, Apache, etc.) across Windows and UNIX platforms.

• Support production environments involving software, networking, and storage components.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to TCP/IP, filesystem, connectivity, routing, and SQL.

• Collaborate with teams on change management, release management, and incident resolution activities.

• Manage and maintain databases such as Oracle or SQL Server, including basic administration and query optimization.

• Use scripting (Shell, Perl, or other programming languages) to automate operational tasks.

• Ensure best practices for configuration management, continuous integration, and deployment automation are implemented.

• Preferred Skills (Any three or more of the following)

• Unix / Windows OS administration

• Jenkins CI/CD orchestration (CloudBees preferred)

• Docker / Terraform workflow

• JFrog, GitLab, or Chef automation tools

• Scripting or programming (Shell, Perl, Python, etc.)

• Database management (SQL, Oracle, or PHP-based DB)

Desirable

• Prior experience in a financial services or regulated enterprise environment.

• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code, cloud automation, and monitoring tools.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, production-critical environments.
