GTO - Global Technology and Operations

Global Technology and Operations (GTO) is a leading provider of trade processing technology and managed services for financial services firms. GTO is comprised of a portfolio of solutions serving the Capital Markets, Asset Management and Wealth segments that automate the securities transaction lifecycle of equity, mutual fund, fixed income, foreign exchange and exchange traded derivatives. Our solutions provide automated straight-through-processing operations and enable buy- and sell-side financial institutions to efficiently and cost-effectively consolidate their books and records, gather and service assets under management, focus on their core businesses, and manage risk. We offer advanced solutions to meet our clients’ needs for Front-, Middle-, and Back-Office capabilities.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Build high-quality, clean, scalable, and reusable code by implementing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.) for products / scalable applications. Shift left oriented with SDET automation capabilities
• Work with the product owners / business teams to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery
• Provide quick turnaround to business requirements and management requests
• Take ownership of technical delivery against project timelines and requirements

Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelors’ Degree with 3-6 years of relevant experience
• Strong knowledge and hands on experience in JAVA / J2EE (Version 11 or above)
• Experience in building micro services with Spring boot / Spring framework
• Good Knowledge of relational databases like: Oracle/POSTGRE SQL / MYSQSL / SQLSERVER etc.
• Exposure using GIT, SVN, Maven, Jenkins builds, Dockers
• Experience on messaging framework – KAFKA/JMS/MA
• Person should have worked in Agile Environment

Nice to have:

• Exposure using Frontend/Backend development frameworks AngularJS, ReactJS, Node.js
• Knowledge on AWS (Amazon Web Services) / Azure cloud services
