What success looks like in this role:

Configure, Install & Troubleshoot various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, load balancers, VPN, QoS)

Ø Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including patches, hot fixes and security configuration.

Ø Provide Level - 2/3 support to resolve incidents.

Ø Plan and implement network changes as per change management process.

Ø Ensure successful completion of change requests and extensive validation to ensure business critical services are functioning properly.

Ø Design and implement Network infrastructure (LAN & Wireless).

Ø Implement best practices in Network.

Ø Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness

Ø Mentor team members on technical issues

Ø Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity and scalability

You will be successful in this role if you have:

6+ years of experience in core network domain.

Ø Hands on experience on multiple vendor network devices (Cisco, HP, Aruba) including DC Routers, Cisco nexus series switches

Ø Knowledge of carrier technologies such as Ethernet services, point to point, point to multipoint connectivity as well as ability to work with carriers for troubleshooting purpose.

In-depth knowledge of Public clouds such as MS Azure or AWS.

Ø In-depth knowledge of routers, switches, Wireless LAN controllers, Access Points, Provider-1; EIGRP/BGP/VRF routing concepts, Fabric Path, IP/ARP/MAC/Spanning-tree issues and configurations, troubleshooting VLAN or physical connectivity for servers and other devices, troubleshooting access-list, NAT issues and CISCO ISE

Ø Solid understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS)

Ø Excellent troubleshooting skills

Ø Good experience in one or more large technical environments, high complexity environments, or highly specialized environments.

Ø Professional level certifications desirable (e.g. CCNP, CCDP)
