Role and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the provisioning, deployment, configuration, and administration of network security-related hardware and software.
• Configure and optimize Security Onion IDS for threat detection and response.
• Maintain and enhance Next-Gen Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet) to strengthen network security.
• Implement and manage Cisco ISE NAC solutions for identity-based access control.
• Manage and maintain Tufin firewall rule governance tool to ensure optimal firewall rule management and compliance.
• Configure, monitor, and maintain IPS to ensure network security and threat prevention.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell or Python to streamline security processes.
• Perform threat analysis, vulnerability assessments, and incident response to mitigate security risks.
• Support a mission-critical production environment, protecting critical infrastructure.
• Develop, enhance, and execute documented procedures, focusing on real-time security alerts, administration, troubleshooting, and customer reporting to ensure the overall availability of our security infrastructure.
• Implement policies for allocating administrative tasks, monitoring audit logs for suspicious activity, and maintaining procedures.
• Maintain strong relationships with integrators and vendors to plan and execute installations and explore innovative solutions.
• Responsible for writing and reviewing implementation procedures as part of the change management process.
• Additional expertise is desired in the technologies used in the environment to maintain network security.
• Passionately being a key member of a “Follow-the-Sun” security engineering team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field. Good to have advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PCNSE, CCNP Security, CISSP, or other security certifications are desired).
• At least 7 years’ experience with minimum 5 years in Information security.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of management.
• Good understanding of network security concepts.
• Proficiency in Security Onion IDS for network traffic monitoring and analysis.
• Expertise in Next-Generation Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet) and IPS solution management.
• In-depth knowledge of Cisco ISE NAC for network access control and security enforcement.
• Hands-on experience with Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS).
• Expertise in managing and maintaining the Tufin Firewall Rule Governance tool.
• Proficiency in automation using PowerShell or Python scripting.
• Proactive in identifying gaps and helping the team streamline processes.
• Flexible to work in shifts, rotational on-call, and available for team deliverables outside of regular shifts.
• Collaborate with extended teams for joint deliverables.
• Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and meet aggressive timeframes.
• May provide support for testing, emergencies, installations, configuration, and rollout.
• Relevant market skills and certifications.
