Senior OCI IoT Engineer (Java)

1. Design and develop highly scalable and maintainable database-driven and microservice-based components for Oracle IoT on OCI, leveraging Java and Oracle Autonomous AI Database technologies.
2. Architect and optimize data models, schemas, and APIs to support high-throughput IoT data ingestion, storage, and analytics.
3. Develop and maintain Java microservices using modern frameworks, ensuring robust integration with OCI services and Oracle Autonomous AI Database.
4. Implement and optimize PL/SQL procedures, indexing strategies, and queries for performance and scalability in multi-tenant environments.
5. Automate schema deployments, tenant provisioning, and database lifecycle operations to improve operational efficiency.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev, DevOps, and other engineering groups) to ensure high-quality, secure, and timely software delivery.
7. Work on both control-plane and data-plane components, focusing on reliability, observability, and high availability (HA).
8. Perform code and SQL reviews, driving improvements in design, performance, and maintainability.
9. Leverage OCI cloud-native tools and infrastructure to build resilient, containerized deployments using Kubernetes and Docker.
10. Stay current with advancements in Oracle Autonomous AI Database, Java frameworks, and OCI cloud technologies to continuously improve system design and developer productivity.
