Senior Principal Consultant – SWE Manager

Genpact is hiring for the role of Senior Principal Consultant – SWE Manager!

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, performance reviews, and feedback sessions to foster growth and address any issues.
• Ensure projects are planned, tracked, and completed on time while balancing priorities. This includes setting timelines, identifying resource needs, and mitigating risks.
• Provide technical oversight and support, helping the team make critical architectural and design decisions.
• Enforce coding standards and best practices through regular code reviews, ensuring high-quality output.
• Collaborate with product managers and other stakeholders to define and maintain the development roadmap, aligning with company goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• Relevant years of equivalent work experience in a relevant SWE or Project management role may be considered instead of a degree.
• Proven technical expertise to take on major projects while providing technical leadership.
• Experience managing a team of engineers, optimizing code, and ensuring best practices are followed across the board.
• Collaborating with the software engineers and other team members to establish objectives and craft more functional, cohesive codes to improve the user experience.
