As a Senior Software Engineer – AIoT & Digital Platforms at Luminous, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance, cloud-native backend systems that power device onboarding, secure connectivity, product lifecycle management, and real-time data processing. You will work at the intersection of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and AIoT applications to transform connected devices into intelligent digital products. This role plays a critical part in enabling faster product launches, scalable onboarding architectures, and resilient AIoT ecosystems.

Qualification/ Personal Attributes

Qualification

Bachelors / Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

Experience

6+ years of experience in backend software development using Java and Spring ecosystem
Strong hands-on experience in building scalable microservices and RESTful APIs
Experience designing distributed systems for high-throughput and real-time data processing
Experience working with IoT or event-driven systems (device onboarding, telemetry ingestion, lifecycle tracking preferred)
Experience in database design, query optimization, and performance tuning (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
Experience integrating cloud services (Azure preferred) and message brokers (Kafka/Service Bus)
Experience converting business requirements into technical architecture and scalable implementation designs
Experience working in Agile environments with cross-functional collaboration

Build and maintain device onboarding, provisioning, and lifecycle management workflows
