Senior Specialist - General Ledger

Main Tasks

Reporting/Process Excellence:
* Daily performing of RTR activities.
* GL, Fixed assets, Treasury, IC reconciliation. Controlling, other Ad hoc.
* Preparation of IFRS statements for the respective legal entities, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly IFRS closing.
* Preparation of BS/PL accounts reconciliations, analysis of variances.
* Supporting management and operational business in queries related to accounting.
* Co-operation with external and internal auditors, tax advisors, statutory organizations.
* Co-operation with other teams - mainly P2P, 02C, controlling, SAP FICO.
* Participating in or lead special projects like SAP4H rollout. transitions, processes setup and optimization.
* TDS (Tax Deduction) and TCS (Tax collection) knowledge including quarterly e-TDS filing.
* Handling Group, Statutory and Internal Auditors
* Knowledge in Accruals.

Experience

Education: University degree in Economics/Accounting or related studies (CA/CPA)
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience preferably in accounting and/or an auditing company with focus on IFRS (local GAAP know-how beneficial).
Language: Fluency in English
Required skills: Experience with SAP, S4Hana is an advantage, strong MS Excel, skills with a proven attitude to interpret financial data
Competencies: Willingness to learn and further, develop, reliability, communication skills, loyalty, diligence, ability to work independently as well as in a team
