Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 7 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
• 5 years of experience with design and architecture and testing/launching software products.
• Experience in working with kubernetess, micro-service architecture and public cloud infrastructure.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
• 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
• 3 years of experience working in an organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.
• Experience in building and scaling observability platforms.

Responsibilities

• Understand the life cycle of modern software delivery in air-gapped data centers.
• Design and implement key components to meet product requirements.
• Play the role of an Uber Tech Lead (UTL) spanning across the various components of the GDC air-gapped stack.
• Partner with UTLs/TLs across geographies (US/India) to help drive/shape product architecture and direction.
• Work seamlessly with Engineering, Product, GTM, and customers, to meet requirements for functionality, compliance, reliability, etc.
