About the Role: Chief engineer in XNE is responsible for delivering leadership SOC products for our future datacenter and networking roadmap. The leader will drive product definition and on-time execution meeting all committed KPI to our customers. This leader will be the one voice of the program for all decisions and communications. Minimum Qualifications • MS Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical field • Minimum 20+ years of progressive leadership experience in semiconductor industry with focus on silicon design and development • Proven track record of successful A star PRQ programs Responsibilities: • Leads the hardware engineering execution responsible for architecture, design and development of IP blocks and System-on-Chip (SoC) integrated circuit products • Responsible for engineering roadmaps and strategic alignment across Intel's product portfolio for all Intel products that incorporate SoC's and IP's. Utilizes deep industry acumen and analysis of competition to achieve and sustain competitive advantage and differentiation for Intel • Responsible for program execution and ensuring the organization consistently meets or exceeds commitments • Applies broad and deep technical expertise in microprocessor design methodology and approach for building IP blocks and microprocessors in order to ensure alignment between process technology, architecture, design, SoC, SW and platform teams • Guides a large, global engineering team, providing direction, support and a healthy organizational culture Technical Expertise • Deep expertise in microprocessor architecture, SoC design, and IP development methodologies • Comprehensive understanding of semiconductor design flows, from architecture through manufacturing • Strong knowledge of industry standards, protocols, and emerging technologies in the SoC ecosystem • Experience with advanced process technologies and their impact on design and business strategies Core Competencies • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with ability to engage technical and business audiences • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities with data-driven decision-making approach • Proven ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders across complex, matrixed organizations • Experience working in global, multicultural environments with distributed teams • Strong program management skills with track record of delivering complex, multi-year engineering programs on time and within budget

Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications • Deep understanding of AI efficiencies in silicon engineering and successful deployments. • Experience with Intel's product portfolio and ecosystem partnerships • Background in emerging technologies such as AI/ML accelerators, automotive silicon, or edge computing solutions
