About the Role:

 

As a Senior Travel Consultant, you'll be the go-to expert for all travel-related matters, providing outstanding service to our employees while optimizing travel processes and solutions. Your expertise will help shape and deliver our global travel program with efficiency and excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Manage and support travel arrangements for all Indian employees, provide booking support and guidance, assist in resolving complex travel issues with a customer-first approach
• Support and coordinate visa applications for all Indian employees and provide corporate credit card support for our global workforce
• Provide expert guidance on travel policies and procedures to employees across all levels of the organization
• Contribute to strategic initiatives that improve our global travel program's efficiency and effectiveness and identify opportunities for AI-driven transformation
• Collaborate on projects at both local and global levels to enhance our travel management systems and processes
• Analyze travel data to generate meaningful insights and prepare structured reports that drive decision-making

 

About the Team:

 

Group Travel Management oversees and manages the global travel and corporate credit card program for Swiss Re. Our responsibilities include developing strategic programs for corporate travel, managing relationships vendors (travel agency, airlines, hotels) and supports employees worldwide with travel-related queries. Services include travel booking technology, CO₂ and travel data reporting, corporate rate negotiations, 24/7 emergency travel support, VIP services for executives, and administration of corporate credit cards.

You are a service-oriented travel professional who thrives in dynamic environments and takes pride in delivering exceptional experiences. You approach challenges with a solution-focused mindset and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Your ability to understand complex interdependencies and manage diverse stakeholder needs sets you apart.

 

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

 

• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate travel management with knowledge of travel industry processes and supplier relationships
• Demonstrated expertise in travel booking systems and technologies with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex travel scenarios
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in English and the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and creating meaningful reports from travel metrics
• Openness to developing the use of AI to improve travel experiences.

• Experience working in a global or multinational organization
• Knowledge of travel expense management systems
• Understanding of corporate credit card programs and administration
• Experience in project management related to travel programs or services
• Familiarity with travel risk management protocols and duty of care principles
• Experience in working with AI solutions and technologies

 

Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week
