Software Developer - DotNet, C#, Azure, API Integration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and maintain application and integration solutions between globally utilized complex systems using Azure DevOps, GitHub, Microsoft Azure SQL, SQL Server, .NET, API Design and development, OpenText RESTful services and applications. 

  • Develop and maintain robust APIs that support UI and backend functionality that performs data look up and publishing functionality.

  • Analyze system requirements and prepare technical specifications.

  • Engage in design, coding, testing, and documentation of software solutions across diverse platforms and operating systems.

  • Maintain developed solutions as technology advances and requirements change.

  • Independently identify, analyze, and resolve application issues, employing effective debugging techniques to enhance system reliability and performance.

  • Assist in defining software application specifications and making modifications to existing systems to meet evolving business needs and technological advancements.

  • Monitor, receive, analyze and service Content Server workflow requests for the purpose of editing templates and coding of data resource macros including document publishing testing.

  • University degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with four years of relevant experience in software development and a strong technical knowledge of programming languages.

  • Proficiency in Azure, GitHub, Azure SQL, SQL Server, .NET, C#, API design, and RESTful services.

  • Experience with DevOps practices and Agile methodologies, enhancing project efficiency and collaboration.

  • Proven ability to integrate complex systems and support application collaborations within development teams.

  • Demonstrated competence in managing and leveraging the Azure environment effectively.

  • Understanding business strategies and user expectations.

  • Experience with moving developed solutions through Dev, SIT, and UAT environments, gathering feedback and making the necessary adjustments, creating release runbooks and design documentation for new or modified applications.

  • Familiarity with automated testing, including unit testing and test-driven development, as well as QA automation principles.

  • Proficient in debugging and using tools like Postman for testing applications.
