Software Engineer (1 to 2 Years) - (C/ C++/ C#/ Python/Java, preferably C++)

Emerson's new test and measurement software portfolio is built to improve engineering productivity and help tackle the world’s greatest engineering challenges. Hardware Configuration is an application software that helps visualize and configure hardware in the test systems. This development team focuses on adding new features and capabilities to the Hardware Configuration product/platform to help serve the evolving customer needs.   In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Understand existing infrastructure/frameworks/code.
• Design and develop moderate- to high-complexity features with a high level of quality.
• Follow software development processes and design practices. 
• Understand and adhere to the coding guidelines of the team.
• Develop feature documentation.
• Participate in feature design and code review exercises.
• Involve yourself in testing activities and write unit tests for the features.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• B.E/ B.Tech/ B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech./MCA or equivalent experience in computer science/information science/electronics and communications/Telecommunication/Electrical/Instrumentation 
• 1-2 years of industry experience. 
• Good programming Skills (C/ C++/ C#/ Python/Java, preferably C++) & Interest to take on complex problems and proactively find out ways to solve them.
• Excellent communication skills to be able to gather information from Global peers.
