Position Summary

Responsibilities

• Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable web applications and APIs using the .NET and .NET Core frameworks.
• Database Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert for PostgreSQL. This includes:
  • Leading database migration projects from other backend systems.
  • Designing, writing, and optimizing complex and efficient database queries, stored procedures, and functions.
  • Configuring and managing high-availability and disaster recovery setups to ensure system resilience.
  • Providing expert guidance and mentorship to other team members on PostgreSQL best practices.
• Problem Solving & Leadership: Work independently to research, design, and implement solutions for complex technical challenges. Take ownership of tasks from conception through to deployment.
• Mentorship: Guide and review the technical work of junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of high-quality coding standards and continuous improvement.
• Customer Interaction: Engage directly with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure delivered solutions meet business needs.
• Code Quality & Best Practices: Participate in code reviews and advocate for clean, testable, and maintainable code.
• Lifecycle Management: Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, including planning, development, testing, and support.
• Frontend Development (Bonus): Utilize your knowledge of the Angular framework to contribute to the client-side development as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience as a Full Stack Developer, with significant time spent working with the .NET and .NET Core frameworks.
• Strong, demonstrable expertise in PostgreSQL, including advanced knowledge of database administration, query optimization, and architectural design (HA/DR).
• Prior experience successfully migrating data and applications from legacy systems to PostgreSQL.
• A track record of independently solving complex technical problems and providing innovative solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences, including customers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.

Preferred Qualifications

• Solid hands-on experience with the Angular framework.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
