The AWAN Platform Team at Juniper is at the forefront of driving technology innovation in the development of Juniper’s routing, switching, enterprise, access, and aggregation solutions tailored for next-generation 5G networks. Our platforms are deployed across some of the world’s largest service provider, data center, enterprise, and metro Ethernet networks.

We are a key contributor to Juniper’s growth in revenue and market share across the service provider, data center, enterprise, access, and aggregation segments. Our team delivers market-leading, high-performance products through continuous innovation and rigorous execution. These platforms—whether modular or chassis-based—are built on Juniper’s proprietary switching ASICs or merchant silicon.

 

Responsibilities

As a member of the  Platform Team, you will:

• Contribute to the development of platform software in key areas such as:
• Board bring-up
• High-speed interfaces (10G, 40G, 100G, and 400G) including interface drivers
• Platform infrastructure software (chassis, line cards, fabric, optics, etc.)

Work on products developed on both Junos and Junos EVO-based software architectures

Collaborate with system and solution test teams to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions

Provide engineering support for critical customer escalations in collaboration with the Juniper Technical Assistance Center (JTAC)

Requirements

• B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (1–2 years of experience)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming, object-oriented design, data structures, and system-level debugging
